OK, I really hate it when I do this and fortunately it doesn’t happen that often. There’s nothing more annoying or unprofessional than releasing substandard product. USUALLY, when I create a new background I will sit on it for a few weeks (or years!) before I release it. This method allows me to make sure that the image works well as both a desktop and as a piece of standalone “art”. It also appears that most of you felt the same way as I did with the “City in the Stars” release and few weeks ago. To date, it’s my least downloaded desktop. It’s almost ironic (and embarrassing) that as I’m writing about changes made to the Imagination pavilion that I myself having to make changes to my own recent mistakes. I after a while I figured out why. In my zeal to launch E82, I momentary forgot what it was created for. E82 is about the EPCOT Legacy and not about E82 itself. So today I present my final concept. I think you’ll like this one much better!

Produced to celebrate the launch of the New E82, City in the Stars combines the three versions of the EPCOT concept. In the background, a Constellation of the Walt Disney’s original concept for the utopian City of EPCOT (realized in model form as Progress City) and reflected in face of E82, Spaceship Earth symbolizing both EPCOT Center, and the Epcot of today.
