Spectacle of Dancing Lights

by Various Artists

In perhaps the only time in history, a long legal battle produced one of the most cherished of holiday displays. Jennings Osborne pioneered the presentation of ostentatiously over-the-top Clark Griswold-style "exterior illumination" that quickly became a victim of its only popularity until it was relocated from Jennings' real-life residence in Little Rock, AK to the Residential Street of Disney•MGM Studios backlot in 1995 until its demise for the Lame, Motors, Action stunt show ten years later when it was moved to the "Big City" at the Streets of America. In 2006, "The Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights" was greatly enhanced to become "The Osborne Family Spectacle of DANCING Lights" featuring an eclectic selection of holiday classics and contemporary musical hits punctuated by choreographed shows hosted by "Arnie & Annie" on the fictional WJBO Radio.
The following is a selection of the show's most quintessential songs presented in "Streetmospheric Sound" to simulate the sensation of listening to the show being broadcast from the Backlot's loudspeakers.
